A perfect newborn session lasts an hour and a half. A great newborn session lasts 2 hours. Anything beyond that means that baby just wasn’t having it for some portion of the day.

Everett’s session clocked in at something like 4 hours (but who’s counting?). Everett was fine. He was a pleasure and went easily from one setup to the next. His parents were the problem. If they weren’t so fun to talk with, Everett might’ve been in for a studio record.

So it seems that I’m still getting in trouble for being too chatty (do things ever change??). Sorry I ruined what could’ve been an award-winning day for you, buddy. At least we’ll have these pictures to remember it all by.

(Dad is an English teacher – doesn’t that last sentence just bug you???).

Seriously – loved you guys and this baby is just delicious. Enjoy.
